Rate Change for Moore Bros. Scavenger and Groveland Transfer Station Customers
Moore Bros. Scavenger customers will see an increase in the solid waste collection rates beginning January 1, 2026. As a franchise hauler for Collection Area 4, Moore Bros. is entitled to a yearly increase based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), if certain conditions exist. The CPI increase to be applied in January is 4.9%. This type of increase helps our business to keep up with the ever-rising costs of fuel, maintenance, insurance, etc.
