NOTICE TO SUSPEND ANY & ALL WALK-IN SERVICES ON UPPER AND LOWER SKYRIDGE – ONLY DURING WINTER SEASON
To whom it may concern,
Moore Bros Scavenger will be suspending all walk-in services on Upper Skyridge Dr and Lower Skyridge Dr, effective immediately. This will ONLY pertain to the cold winter months of the year.
Unfortunately, due to icy conditions and thick debris on steep driveways, our drivers have encountered numerous hazardous situations both on foot and while driving in the area. While driving on Lower Skyridge to fulfill a special pick-up on December 18th, a hazardous situation quickly escalated into a dangerous situation, and our garbage truck was involved in an accident. The garbage truck is no longer operable, and we are very grateful that our drivers were not hurt in the event.
Safety is a priority here at Moore Bros. Our decision to suspend walk-in services to these areas is purely to keep our beloved drivers, and YOU as our customer, safe from property damage or bodily injury.
Accommodations for trash service in these areas can be made with our office staff at (209) 962-7224. Office hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday through Friday. The walk-in suspension will be lifted after temperatures have started to warm.
